歡樂百點 技藝傳承 2011小朋友的快樂民俗營
學習語言是了解一個文化的途徑和工具之一。在海外學習中文的孩子們，除了華人的三大節日外，鮮少有接觸到傳統中華文化的機會。澳洲台灣同鄉會和雪梨台灣學校長久以來以傳承並發揚優良的中華文化為使命。有感於此，澳洲台灣同鄉會和雪梨台灣學校將於四月二十一日(星期四) 學校假期期間，舉行小朋友的文化民俗營，希望小朋友可以藉此機會更進一步接觸和體驗中華文化的博大精深。
活動當天，台灣僑務委員會特別安排的文化體育教師詹益淦老師教授扯鈴。經驗豐富的詹老師曾多次赴海外各國教導學生扯鈴。僑委會更貼心的為各位小朋友提供當天教學使用的培鈴，讓小朋友可以很快上手，體驗玩弄扯鈴的樂趣。
除此之外，活動當天還請來了潛心研究咏春拳的皇迪先生，示範教授詠春拳。這個將會讓對武術有興趣，崇拜李小龍功夫或武打成龍的小朋友為之亮眼！學習功夫不再是個遙不可及的夢想。
十項全能的小朋友，他們上得了廳堂，玩扯鈴、打功夫； 也下得了廚房做傳統的點心。 在小朋友享受學習中華文化的薰陶之餘，主辦單位準備了自己動手作的小點心材料，讓小朋友可以體驗自己動手做點心的樂趣。

2011 Children’s Cultural Workshop
Learning a language is a way to understand its culture. For children who learn Mandarin, they tend to have limited knowledge about Chinese culture other than the Chinese New Year Festival. One of the objectives of The Australian Taiwanese Friendship Association (ATFA) and Sydney Taiwanese School (STS) is to promote the Chinese language in our multicultural society and bring both Chinese and Australian cultures closer together. Therefore, during this school holiday, ATFA and STS will hold a culture workshop just for children. It will on Thursday, 21st of April, from 9 am ~ 12:30pm.
We are pleased to have an experienced PE teacher from Taiwan who is sponsored by the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission, R.O.C. (Taiwan) (Known as OCAC), Mr. Zhan. Mr. Zhan has been touring around many countries over the world to demonstrate the art of Diabolo/Chinese Yoyo. OCAC also kindly provide special training Diabolos for children to practice so that they can play a Diabolo like a pro within no time!
For those children who are fascinated about Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Kung Fu Panda, they will not be disappointed! We have the pleasure to invite our special guest to show everyone Yong Chun Kung Fu.
In the workshop, we will also teach children how to make traditional Chinese deserts. Children will have lots of fun making and eating their own desserts.
